The chlorine industry plays a leading role in global industrial and economic development. Today, more than 50% of the revenue, more than 30% of the investment, and approximately 25% of the jobs in the global chemical industry are based on chlorine, caustic soda, and derivatives activities.
Sodium hydroxide and chlorine together produce sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl); this is a clear, slightly yellow solution with a characteristic odor and a compound that can be used effectively in water purification. It is used for numerous applications such as surface cleaning, bleaching, and odor removal.
With a total area of 5 hectares and 2 hectares of production space, Chemical Doudah was established in 2017 in Bordj Bou-Arreridj, east of Algiers, specializing in chlorine and derivatives. The company collaborates with the international ThyssenKrup Group (Germany), a world leader in the field, for the supply and installation of technology.
Our many years in the marketing of public hygiene products have allowed us to acquire the experience and skills necessary to study, plan, and respond to the needs of our customers.
The CHEMICAL DOUDAH laboratory covers an area of 150m2, a well-equipped quality control laboratory, staffed by a qualified and experienced team. Thanks to the formulation studies carried out and the physicochemical analyses performed, it guarantees quality to customers.
The laboratory staff act as technical interlocutors with clients and participate in the approval of new product ranges.
Each raw material received and each finished product manufactured in the company is systematically sampled and analyzed in the laboratory, to confirm its conformity with standards and customer requirements.
